Formissio is an online resource for those who want to devote themselves to Jesus' teachings and follow His example in small communities of spiritual and missional practice. Formissio serves local churches, Parishes, and individual Christians toward missional and spiritual formation. It addresses the great challenge of modern Christianity, to be and make disciples in a distracted - disconnected world.

Formissio is for anyone who desires to devote themselves to Jesus and who desires to help those in need by doing good.
Formissio is open to anyone who believes that Jesus is Lord and is worthy of our ultimate allegiance. It is for those who wish to add participation, transformation, generosity, service, and community to their Christian practice.
What's different about Formissio?
Most small group resources on offer focus on bible study, teaching, and doctrinal formation. We are a resource for spiritual and missional practice.
Formissio has been developed with the assumption that participants are already aligned with a doctrinal tradition and participate in a local church/perish. The focus of Formissio gatherings is therefore primarily spiritual and missional formation.
What is our goal?
Our desire is to help participants in their journey to be united with Christ. God designed us in His image to follow Christ into union and perfection. Our old self, its mindset, desires, and actions are to be crucified with Christ, and we are to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Disciples of Jesus are distinguished by these traits:

Our aim is to make disciples. Becoming like Christ and being sanctified toward spiritual union or sainthood is the promised goal of the Christian Walk.
This involves:

Community– Following Jesus is done in community with other believers who build each other up and together demonstrate the kingdom of God to the world.

Spiritual Formation – cultivating a vertical relationship or union with God through abiding in Him spiritually through prayer, surrendering to his grace, and responding in obedience.

Missional formation – being equipped and sent to take up Christ’ mission on the earth.
